Woman Crowdfunds To Hold Government To Account

The Covid-19 virus has been particularly brutal to the elderly, especially those in nursing homes.

Many of the deaths may have been avoided if prompt, informed action had been taken.

In the United Kingdom, one woman is asking the government to “accept responsibility of their ‘unlawful’ decisions and policies, issue revised guidelines to prevent further deaths, and correct the ‘misrepresentations’ made by the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Health.”

She is crowdfunding her legal expenses in the probable event that her counsel’s request will be ignored.

If so, then she anticipates filing a lawsuit in the English High Court to hold the Johnson government accountable and to get it to take the necessary to protect lives as the corona virus rages on.
