Paying It Forward

Former AOL head Steve Case is paying it forward with his Rise of the Rest Tour.

His 10 city bus trip will showcase and invest in entrepreneurs in venture capital “fly-over” country so that great ideas from anywhere can get the same recognition as if they were resident in Silicon Valley.

Startup businesses will compete in pitch sessions to win a $100,000 investment and the participants, including Google for Entrepreneurs, Salesforce for Startups, Engine, Seed Here Studio, Tech Cocktail, Startup Grind and Village Capital, will engage in panel discussions to foster startup growth.
