Whistleblower Crowdfunds Legal Fees

Breitbart (what a source!) is reporting that the anonymous whistle blower who filed an “urgent” complaint about a high ranking U.S. official’s abuse of office is crowdfunding his/her legal fees.

Unless you were hiding under a rock last week, the complaint and the official’s telephone call transcript indicate that this official may have used U.S. taxpayer money to extort a foreign leader into finding dirt on a political rival.

That person is now literally a target as the official has made an implied threat on his/her life, thus prompting his/her agency to provide personal protection.

Funding for legal fees has become  “thing” for persons of all political persuasions as the hourly rates for experienced white collar attorneys can approach $1,000.

Donations will be taken only from U.S. Citizens. The crowdfunding site notes that donations are “100% tax deductible.”

Whistleblowers Aid has raised $179,115 of its $250,000 goal.
