Kickstarter Suspends Crowdfunding Campaign

Kickstarter has suspended the crowdfunding campaign of RAW, a German video game studio, that is seeking money to develop an MMORPG (for the older generation, a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game).

According to AltChar, the reason for the suspension is that “the developers were not clear and honest with the project.”

Apparently, the developers did not disclose that they would need more money after hitting their target in order to deliver their product.

Kickstarter staff said, “Our rules and guidelines ask that creators seek to raise the amount of money needed to bring a project to completion and fulfil all rewards.”

The developers claim that Kickstarter never told them about the rules, but, c’mon guys, it’s on the website.

The developers plan to take their ball and move to Indiegogo where, presumably they will be more transparent with their offering.
