Musician Double Dips Fans

When you’re a celebrity I guess you can keep coming back to your fans for more (please).

Neil Young, the former member of the Boomer band Crosby Stills Nash & Young, raised over $6 million from fans on Kickstarter for his Pono Player that supposedly delivered high definition quality music as opposed to “highly compressed MP3 format which Young called “crap”.”

Unfortunately for those fans who dropped their hard-earned $400 on the device, the format “died” in 2017. Oops.

Now Mr. Young is starting a streaming service for those faithful fans for $1.99/month for his new stuff and his archives.

If you can’t get enough of it, compared to Pono, it’s a relative bargain.
