Crowdfunding For Alternative Treatments Can Lead To Faster Death

Steve Jobs was a smart guy until it came to his cancer.

Now, it appears that others are following his lead by crowdfunding for “alternative” treatments , like coffee enemas, for their illness.

A study shows that “In just the UK, crowdfunding sites amassed around $10 million since 2012 for cancer treatments with an alternative-treatment element.”

And, unfortunately, “research had found that cancer patients who delay or skip conventional treatments in favor of “alternative” treatments have as much as a 5.7-fold increased risk of dying within five years than those who stick with conventional medicine.”

The Apple master, in his final days, regretted his decision to reject potentially life-saving surgery in favor of alternative treatments like acupuncture, dietary supplements and juices according to the Walter Issacson biography.
