iPhone Airbag To Be Crowdfunded

According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, to date the airbag has saved more than 28,000 lives in the USA alone.

Now, a German student inventor is set to crowdfund his airbag for (wait for it!) your iPhone!

Yes, Philip Frenzel won a national prize fromThe German Mechatronics Society for his four-pronged airbag.

” When the sensor detects the phone is falling, the prongs automatically deploy, preventing any part of the phone from hitting the ground.”
