Grandma Strangles Bobcat; Crowdfunds Rabies Shots

Sometimes you just gotta report on the unusual.

A grandmother in Georgia is crowdfunding her medical care after strangling a bobcat to death.

When she went out to take a photo (of the mountain lion?), the cat, who was rabid, attacked her.

Here’s the quote: “Phillips says she grew up in the country, where her father-in-law was once a trapper of bobcats. As a result, she knew something about the animal’s behaviour.”

She must have been pretty strong. However, the animal bit her and broke her finger, so now she needs some help with the medical bills.
