Crowdfunding Site for Writers

A new crowdfunding site helps authors do two things at once: pre-sell their novel and get noticed by publishers.

Although some writers have made a lot of dough (Fifty Shades of Grey has earned over $500M in all of its derivative formats), they are clearly outliers in the self publishing world.

But Publishizer cutely touts that it; “… matches authors with publishers during pre-orders campaigns. It’s like Kickstarter meets Tinder, for publishing.”

It does this by querying publishers as you crowdfund your manuscript.
