Mocked Crowdfunding Campaign Still Raises Money

This proves that even if the world mocks your crowdfunding campaign, you may still raise money.

The Pause Pod  is “the world’s first private pop up space suitable for all your relaxation needs.”

But if you look at the picture, it’s really just a tent.

And the Twitter-sphere went hilarious crazy: “Water bottles are now Thirst Companions.” “Cereal Bars are Carb Legos.””Tissues are Nose Friends.” Send me money!

Notwithstanding the roasting, it did raise over $140,000, selling 2,000 Pause Pods, er, tents.
