Crowdfunding For Pro Choice Rights In Northern Ireland

“A,” a pregnant 15 year old, and “B,” her mother, are crowdfunding “important issues on reproductive rights of women from Northern Ireland who are UK citizens but face discrimination as they are blocked from accessing free abortion services (by the National Health Services) in England” and abortion is a crime in Northern Ireland.

Having narrowly lost their case in the UK, A and B want to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France but need funding to do so.

Women in Ireland need at least £2,500 for travel and the procedure now, a huge amount for those having financial difficulties.
