Apple Acquires Crowdfunded Sleep App

Another crowdfunding success story is the Finnish company Beddit that raised $503,000 (with an $80,000 goal) on Indiegogo.

Beddit sells a bed-based sleep sensor which is iPhone and iWatch compatible.

Then the gold strike happened this week when Apple swooped in and acquired the company. Purchase price is unknown and, since the crowdfunders donated to buy the product, they will not participate in any financial upside.

Now, like Santa, Apple knows when you are sleeping…
