Real Estate Magnate Crowdfunding To Support Psychedelic Research

How does crowdfunding fit into a story about a real estate magnate with cancer and the Peruvian hallocinogen ayahuasca?

Rodrigo Niño, a NYC real estate developer, after having a psychedelic experience to relieve his fear of death (the drug makes you think you’re dying), decided to start a crowdfunding campaign to permit scientists to study the good effects of LSD and other similar drugs that have been linked to, perhaps, helping returning vets with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The goal is to raise $2 million to fund real scientific research that the government won’t touch.
