Celebrity Shamed Into Shutting Crowdfunding Campaign

You don’t know him in the U.S., but they do in Australia.

Jeans designer Dan Single was shamed into closing his crowdfunding plea by furious donors.

Single apparently fell from the balcony of a hotel in Paris, breaking most of the bones from hips down.

He started a please pay my medical bills crowdfunding page, but was inundated with abusive comments such as “”How come you can fund partying, drinking and overseas trips but not your own recovery?”

Other funders targeted his model wife who had to shut down her Instagram account.

Sometimes it doesn’t pay to be famous.
