Valentine’s Day Love Through Crowdfunding

A great crowdfunding Valentine’s Day story from USC.

Alumnus Nikaam Mehta and Poonam Kaushal, MD, are getting married on today. But instead of spending a fortune on a lavish traditional Indian wedding they invited their family and friends to help them raise money to provide a million school meals to children affected by the Boko Haram violence in Cameroon.

The couple kicked it off by donating $20,000 and starting team #MillionMealsforLove.
