Crowdfunding DNA Testing To Test Price Resistance

There’s a price war going on in the genome sequencing business.

While Veritas Genomics offers a full sequence of your DNA for $999, it is reported that:

“Tute Genomics is crowdfunding a personalized DNA sequencing program. The campaign is aiming to raise $100,000 by offering whole genome sequencing for between $999 and $1,499, a model that effectively makes the project a referendum on whether costs are now low enough to attract consumers.”

Once you get sequenced, you can access Tute’s portal to learn just how scarey your genetic future will be.
