Crowdfunders Start To Use Celebrities

The next big thing in crowdfunding is getting a celebrity endorsement.

It’s happening now with Peter Frampton (who, for the millennials, is a 70’s rock musician).

Frampton is lending his persona (in a 5 year “consulting” agreement) to AxCent Tuning Systems, a company that sells a computer controlled guitar tuner, used by other famous rockers.

AxCent is trying to raise $1,000,000 with rewards in the rock-n-roll vein, including Frampton memorabilia.

AxCent has had previous raises, garnering $2.500,000 from prior investors.
