Ugandan Tarantino Crowdfunds His $200 Movies

“We used to fill them with real animal blood, but actors got sick with a disease passed on from cows.”

Just another day with the Ugandan Quentin Tarantino who crowdfunded $15,000 on Kickstarter to buy cars to blow up.

Isaac Nabwana, who has made 45 feature films with budgets that run about $200, has a vertical movie operation, from production to selling his DVDs on the streets of Kampala for about $1 each in the week before the pirates take over.
