Breakthrough or Hoax?

Are we on the verge of a major electricity storage breakthrough or a hoax? The back page of the Wall Street Journal’s  “A” section today is a full page ad for a new technology that will double battery life.

It says:”This technology has been developed by a well-funded American company that will now reveal research results to a selected group of potential partners. It has not been, and will not be, disclosed in any research literature.”

It invites potential partners but disinvites investment bankers, venture capital companies, government representatives, and members of the press.

BS or for real?
