Some of the Year’s Strangest Crowdfundings

Year end lists have to include strangest crowdfunding campaigns.

My list includes:

  • Brony Fair 2016,
  • potato salad,
  • a new line of designer condoms that sport artistic designs,
  • a guy who would, for $1.5M delete his (Sam Pepper’s) YouTube account (a reward was to kick him in the n*ts),
  • defense costs for a man accused of stabbing someone, and
  • Zombait, a device that makes your baitfish look (to other fish) like it’s alive!
