UK Crowdfunding Year in Review

The 15 biggest crowdfunding projects in the UK for 2015 included:

  • ToxiMet (food safety) raising £1,596,040;
  • Pod Point (electric car charging) £1,677,620;
  • Diabetic Boot Company: £1,764,493;
  • Pavegen (floors that cycle kinetic energy) £1,903,400;
  • Hochanda (hobbies, crafts) £1,962,744;
  • Adzuna (job search engine) £2,112,916;
  • Hybrid Air Vehicles (low carbon aircraft) £2,196,870; and
  • Seedrs (a crowdfunding platform) £2,500,008.

The UK appears to lead world wide crowd funding efforts.
