New Crowdfunding Study Starting

You can help determine what makes crowdfunding tick.

Prof. Ethan Mollick, a leading crowdfunding scholar at Wharton, is conducting a new study about crowdfunding hrough Kickstarter.

Although he has listed a number of questions on his webpage, it appears that the first questionnaire is meant to reveal information about why backers donate to certain projects.

Aside from getting a warm feeling inside for helping out with this social science project, Kickstarter has donated a number of “prizes” which are from crowdfunded Kickstarter projects, including a hoodie and foodie dice. The project’s worthwhile, you can keep the prizes.
